This site uses no cookies

We install no cookies on your device. We also use no localStorage, no sessionStorage and no other way of storing information in your browser. We checked page by page, including after submitting the forms: nothing is left behind.

That is why we do not ask for your cookie consent. There is nothing to consent to, and a cookie banner on a site that uses no cookies would be a nuisance with no purpose.

We use no analytics either

We have no Google Analytics and no other traffic analysis tool. We do not know who visits us, where they come from or which pages they see. There is no advertising and no way of following you between sites.

What leaves your browser for other servers

There is one thing worth knowing, even though it is not a cookie. The site's fonts come from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). They store nothing on your device, but in order to fetch them your browser makes a request to those servers, and that request passes your IP address and your browser identification to Google.

Apart from this, the site makes not a single third-party request.

If you click a link out

The footer links to Instagram, TikTok and the Portuguese Complaints Book. Those are third-party sites with their own policies, and they may use cookies. We do not control them, and this policy does not apply to them.

What a cookie is, while we are here

A cookie is a small file a site stores on your device so it can recognise you when you return. Some cookies are necessary for a site to work — to keep you signed in, for instance — and others, for analytics or advertising, require your prior consent under Article 5 of Portuguese Law 41/2004 of 18 August. This site has neither kind.

If this changes

The decision not to use analytics is for now. If we ever start using them, there will be a notice with a real choice before anything is installed on your device — with refusing as easy as accepting — and this page will be updated accordingly.
